From 8th grade Kirsten knew she wanted to go into the architecture and building industry. She loves to learn, and has a acquired a couple degrees. She launched her own design build firm a couple years ago.

It has been more successful than she ever imagined. In this episode, she shares her story and some tips that have contributed to her success.

  • Create a process for everything, even on boarding new subs.
  • Don’t apologize for what you are charging.

Kirsten encourages people who are just getting started in contracting to reach out and network with others in the industry. It’s so important that you have people in your life to encourage you and help you over the humps that come your way.
